DIcoSF_PositronIn the field of physics, positronic is an adjective referring to the electron antiparticle, the positron (which possess the same physical properties than the electron except his charge that is the opposite).

In science fiction, this term has been introduced in 1950 by Isaac Asimov to qualify his robots subject to his famous Three Laws, because it fitted well.
